Have you ever had troubles with your dog? Counter surfing & causing an impact of mischief in your life? So have I. In the beginning of my relationship with my dog I was lost, my adopted puppy Kira had a prey drive & behavioural issues out of my own capabilities to manage.

This lead to me searching for trainers in my area when I found the PACE (positive association canine education) programme at the Cochrane & Area Humane Society. I figured I would gain the skills myself to help my dog, little did I realize at that time that this little puppy would propel me into my future career. Through CAHS I was able to gain a baseline education on dog behaviour modification, dog body language, general obedience, & more! From there I chose to continue my education by reading every book recommended by other professionals in the industry that I can get my hands on, taking courses through Fenzi Dog Academy such as Engagement courses, Raising a Performance Puppy, From Start to Finish & more! While gaining more knowledge I sought out family, friends & locals who needed some assistance training their dogs to gain hours & complete my certification through the CCPDT.

I am now certified as CPDT-KA (Certified Professional Dog Trainer Knowledge Assessed). This is just the first of many certifications that I aspire to achieve in the coming years as my business progresses. My specialty is currently general obedience, helping owners start their puppies off on the best foot, common behaviour issues such as counter surfing, barking at the front door, jumping, & more!

In may of 2025 I completed a two week apprenticeship under Stan Smith at Iron Sharp K9 in Texas. This opportunity was my first step into the sport dog & working dog world! It was a pleasure to begin my decoy training & learn what it takes to build a competition ready dog. With this new knowledge I am eager to incorporate it into building above average obedience, so you too can have a stellar pet!

I strive to help my clients build a happy relationship with their canine companions through the education of proper tools, dog body language & how to clearly & appropriately communicate with their dog. I believe each dog & their personality is unique therefore they deserve a personalized training plan. Through the use of positive reinforcement markers, verbal markers, play & more, we can build engagement & a healthy relationship to nourish appropriate behaviours & in turn a confident dog!
